Student Council and Bear CREW

STUDENT COUNCIL 
 
El consejo estudiantil es una parte muy importante de nuestra escuela. Les da a los estudiantes una gran voz en lo que hacemos en Berry y ayuda a desarrollar la propiedad en la escuela y la comunidad. Los estudiantes que son parte del Consejo Estudiantil deben ser grandes representantes de Berry y constantemente LEVANTARSE a nuestras expectativas LEVANTARSE en toda la escuela.

  • Si bien nos perdimos el año escolar 22/23 y no tuvimos consejo estudiantil. Lo traeremos de vuelta este año. Si su hijo está interesado, puede apoyarlo
    Discutir con ellos las responsabilidades de ser un representante de la escuela.
    Ayudándolos a continuar LEVANTARSE todo el año con lo académico, la tarea y ser un buen ciudadano. Serán llevados a los más altos estándares para estar en el Consejo Estudiantil.
    Complete y firme el formulario de Nominación a tiempo para que puedan hacer campaña (también puede ayudarlos con carteles y materiales de campaña).
    Tendrán que dar un discurso para correr. Apóyalos y ayúdalos a desarrollar un discurso y practicarlo.
 
Student council is a very important part of our school. It gives the students a large voice in what we do at Berry and helps build ownership in the school and the community. Students that are part of Student Council must be great representatives of Berry and consistently RISE UP to our schoolwide RISE expectations. 
 
While we missed the 22/23 school year and did not have student council. We will be bringing it back this year. If your child is interested you can support them by
  • Discussing with them the responsibilities of being a representative of the school
  • Helping them continue to RISE UP all year with academics, homework, and being a good citizen. They will be held to the highest of standards to be on the Student Council. 
  • Complete and sign the Nomination form on time so that they can campaign (you can slo help them with campaign posters and materials).
  • They will need to give a speech to run. Support them and help them develop a speech and practice it. 
 
Bear CREW
 
Berry Bear CREW es algo nuevo que estamos trayendo a la comunidad de Berry. Queremos ofrecer muchas formas diferentes para que los estudiantes participen en su escuela, esta es otra forma de que esto suceda. Bear CREW será un grupo de estudiantes dedicados que constantemente muestran las expectativas de Berry RISE. También quieren tener un impacto positivo en su comunidad escolar ayudando en la escuela. A veces necesitamos que se hagan cosas como la preparación de la Asamblea, o una limpieza especial para un evento, o la preparación para un festival de otoño, o muchas otras cosas. A veces esto podría incluir tiempo FUERA de la escuela o en un fin de semana. Creemos que esto aumentará la responsabilidad de nuestra escuela, lo que también ayuda a tener un impacto positivo en nuestra comunidad. Se requiere que los estudiantes completen una solicitud y una breve entrevista con el director y otros miembros del equipo Berry.
 
 
The Berry Bear CREW is a new thing we are bringing to the Berry community. We want to offer many different ways for students to participate at their school, this is another way for this to happen. Bear CREW will be a group of dedicated students who consistently show the Berry RISE expectations. They also want to positively impact their school community by helping around school. Sometimes we need things done like Assembly set up, or special clean up for an event, or set up for a Fall festival, or many other things. Sometimes this could include time OUTSIDE of school or on a weekend. We believe this will raise responsibility for our school which also helps make a positive impact in our community as well. Students are required to complete an application and short interview with the principal and other Berry Team Members.
